Of course it’s nothing new to have the “gone fishing” sign hanging outside the Oval Office. Bush has been on an extended vacation since selected.

The frat boy in chief it is reported, declined his usual golf game with Poppy, and took “his mountain bike about a half-hour away to a federally owned stretch of woods,” Massabesic Experimental Forest. There he was accompanied by companions “recruited from a bike shop and elsewhere, the president indulged in early morning, hourlong rides two days in a row, out of view of the cameras.” Companions recruited?? What does that mean? Were they paid to go biking with the pResident?
