I wonder what the turn over rate is for WH staff and if they get extra pay for putting up with this rude and nasty "frat boy" behavior. So much for bringing "honor and dignity" to the WH eh?

9. Oh it's bad.

Too lazy to look it up but there's been a couple articles about hoards of long time WH staffers (maids, cooks etc) asking for either retirement or reassignment because they cannot stomach Bush. From the beginning there have been rumors of hissy fits, marital fights, mental abusement of staff and various rude behavior.

10. thank you for your kind thoughts and the hug--much appreciated, believe

me. my friend's mother is, in hospice parlance, "actively dying"-- a very difficult time for the family, even though they understand the process and are, to a degree, prepared. I have been through this a number of times, so will just do my best to be there for them all.

11. That's all you can do... be there for them and I'm sure you do it well but

IME no matter how many times we've BTDT for friends, family and even relative "strangers" (patients) it still isn't easy if we have a heart and truly care.

I will send positive energy in the hopes that your friends mother crosses over with relative ease and for strength for her loved ones and you. If you need a hug or someone to rant at yourself I'm as close as a PM. :hug:
