Tweety and Hacket Eviscerates a Right Wing Puke

Taylor who did fight in the Iraq war for some reason uses the most unoriginal "we’re fighting them over there" Ken Mehlman talking points–which are sounding more and more like an Abbott & Costello routine.

dday has a diary posted about the segment on Kos.

Many more Iraq veterans are running as Democrats this year than as Republicans, I wonder why?

They call themselves the Band of Brothers, about 50 men - and a few women - all Democrats, all opposed to the Bush administration’s handling of Iraq, and all military veterans. One more thing: They’re all running for Congress this year. Not since 1946 have so many vets from one party come together in a political campaign, they claim. Their wildest dream is to give the Democratic Party the extra edge it needs - by boosting its weak image on defense and patriotism - to end Republican control of the House.…read on

This is fun

2. Tweety and Hacket made van taylor look like a total idiot........
if the voters from Texas, including the 'crawford area', would even consider voting for this one issue, one campaign slogan bushbot, there would have to be 'something' in the water supply.

4. A couple thoughts ...
VERY, VERY cool of Hackett to slap the table and shout for people to support Sherrod Brown ... In the heat of the battle at the time he was miffed, but the guy is a STRONG and dedicated democratic voice ...

"Tweety" ... He has been working extra hard the last week or so to reinforce his "centrist" creds ... He had Murtha on with the bimbo running against him ... Her press secretary had sent Tweety a list of 10 questions to ask Murtha during the interview, and one of the questions was this insane thing about how did Murtha feel about Mathews' brother supporting this bimbo ... This REALLY hacked Mathews off, and he ground her up ...

NOW ... The context her is that he is an uncontrollable suckup to powerful politicians, so he is stacking up as many Ds who have prestige and are lined up against Rs who have no real statues ... Murtha is important, and is not going to lose to the bimbo ... This Van guy is a nobody ... SO, he is making as much hay as he can right now, beating up on the third team republican wannabes - Rick Santorum not withstanding ...

But, he lets it slip as often as not, that he has little respect for Ds, and is like a schoolgirl with wet underwear with any R of any status ...

5. I saw that too
He was PISSED and rightfully so and her reaction demonstrated what a piece of shit that she is.

matthews appears to be (again rightfully so) so tired of apologists for this war and when they state the talking points, he turns it around and they demonstrate that they got nothin'

Too bad though we don't see more of this when it matter the most (or when it mattered the most).
