2. I am embarrased to admit...
that I wanted to vote for McCain during 2000. He was my fav candidate. Of course I voted for Gore (at least I think my vote was counted).

3. Depends, to simply up and leave Iraq
Edited on Sun Aug-20-06 08:01 PM by azurnoir
would very likely lead to a blood bath with the Sunni's as victims, there is also the situatioin on the Kurdistan/Turkey/Iran border with both Turkey and Iran shelling Kurdistan. Chimp has put us in a damned if do we and damned if we don't situation.

8. The situation was already there
it was kept in check, Iraq is a "Balkanized" nation an artificial construct that can not survive as a democracy.

6. Been reading reports lately? These people do more to kill each other
than whores do to have sex. Its already a bloodbath. Iraq will be boken up into sectarian sections and Islamic sections.

7. True enough but it was
not quite this way prior to our invasion, they lived by the "peace of the gun" for a reason.

5. I used to respect McCain as much as I could muster for a republican.
I even felt some sympathy for him when he was savaged by Bush et al. However,
his warmongering and boot-licking of the chimp has created an intense dislike.
I wonder privately if he rails against the stupidity of W.
