Any Kind of Deal beats the Raw Deal of George W Bush....

John Kerry says that he is the Real Deal. Of course, we all remember that FDR had the New Deal and Truman had the Fair Deal. But there's no doubt - to some Americans - about who is getting the Raw Deal. It's the unemployed of this nation and I know whereof I speak. Stop the temporary extension of unemloyment benefits and all those folks will get jobs, they think. If it were only so simple. There are not a lot of jobs out there, especially decent paying jobs. Many folks will no doubt have to eventually take a fast food job or whatever to survive when they were accustomed to $15 dollars an hour. That's a big pay cut for people trying to make ends meet. And they wonder why it is a "jobless recovery". But the really raw part of the deal is that they are screwing people all over this country so their numbers will look better for the November elections. Any kind of "deal" will beat what we presently have in Washington....
