Lieberman: Lamont's Iraq plan offers "a tremendous victory" to terrorists
Looks like Rove IS helping this little shit.

Bush adviser Karl Rove called the conversation with Sen. Lieberman a "personal call" to one of his several Democratic friends.

Lieberman: Lamont Iraq plan would 'strengthen' terrorists

RAW STORY
Published: Thursday August 10, 2006

Senator Joseph I. Lieberman (D-CT) today told voters that the Iraq position held by challenger Ned Lamont could lead to more terror attacks like those foiled in the UK today, according to the New York Times.

An excerpt from the registration-restricted Times article follows:

If we just pick up like Ned Lamont wants us to do, get out by a date certain, it will be taken as a tremendous victory by the same people who wanted to blow up these planes in this plot hatched in England, Mr. Lieberman said at a campaign event at lunchtime in Waterbury, Conn. It will strengthen them and they will strike again.

1. Lieberman has just declared war against the Democratic Party
Lamont needs to shift gears from winning the Dem Primary to explaining to Independents why Lieberman is bad for Connecticut, especially a Lieberman backed by Karl Rove.

2. the Dems need to squish Lieberman now ...
if they don't, this will drive a serious wedge between the party's factions ... it's time to take off the gloves and squish this jackass ...

for too long, we've avoided having our little "family chat" to find an Iraq compromise acceptable to all ... we can't afford to put it off any longer ... if common ground can't be found, Democrats are going to be pulled in opposite directions ...

Lieberman is forcing the issue now ... Lamont is going to be forced to respond ... and the great divide will be underway ... it doesn't need to be this way ...

4. Lieberman is showing his true colors...

He's obviously taking hints from Rove.

How can Lieberman live with himself. He's pulling the same crap that the Republicans
pull on all Democrats!

How could Lieberman's behavior bode well with any Democrat? Everyone knows what Rove-inspired Republicans do--they insinuate that the Democrats are on the side of terrorists.

Joe Lieberman can follow all of Karl Rove's ill-conceived advice, if he so chooses. I don't think he'll have a Democratic friend left in the world, if he does.

What's more pathetic, is that the Republicans aren't his friends either. They're using him. When they're done with Joe, and they stop calling him--he'll be the loneliest man in DC.

What a sad, downward spiral we're witnessing.

See Joe self destruct. Self destruct Joe, self destruct.

5. Ned needs to knock Joe's dick in the dirt over that comment...immediateley
Something like..... "Let's look what Bush's favorite senator advocates for stopping those potential hijackers in The UK. ....Bombing..... IRAQ..... The fact is these terrorists were stopped with top notch intel work and sound police cooperation.

Joe. Why don't you and your buddy, George Bush, explain to us why invading Iraq and putting our troops between 2 factions in their civil war contributed toward apprehending these terrorists in The UK.

I'll wait for your answer.

7. Brilliant!!!
"Joe. Why don't you and your buddy, George Bush, explain to us why invading Iraq and putting our troops between 2 factions in their civil war contributed toward apprehending these terrorists in The UK."

Ok, if you don't send your resume to the Lamont campaign, I'm doing it for you!!!

You are spot on. Those exact words need to be blasted! What better person than Lamont--to ask the pointed questions that everyone seems to avoid!!

Verbally blast back at Lieberman and his inane Rovian bullshit comments!

I've had enough to Democrats not stating the obvious. We need to shout the truth.

Stating exactly what you just said (your quote above) would be an excellent start!!!

10. Lieberman is a mouth piece for
Propaganda chief Herman "Rove" Goerring: "The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
