Unbelievable...Wolfie says Democrats deserted Lieberman
And they put it up as a statement.

Whatever happened to the mindset that we the people get to vote, that there is no entitlement in politics.

3. Wolfie is a useless gasbag...
The perfect example of an alleged journalist desperate to prove his legitimacy, of which he has none.

6. The Right aren't satisfied with just the Rethugs -- they want OUR party!
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 03:38 PM by LSparkle
They want to keep the Democratic Party operating as another wing of the Rethuglican Cult. First we take back OUR PARTY, then we take back OUR COUNTRY!

The hypocrisy is just overwhelming -- so it's OK for the Thugs (and especially Chimperor) to "play to their base" (witness the estate tax/minimum wage bill just last week) but it's NOT OK for the Dems to do the same?

:wtf:

9. Fits right in with 'cut and run'
Rove memo said:

Use WORDS as WEAPONS:

Dems, run, cut, desert, coward, weak.

repubs strong, loyal, steadfast.

CNN is part of the Great Right Wing Wurlitzer and once you figure out your being played by watching it, its probably not much fun to listen to their propaganda any more. I couldn't tell you, because I stopped listening to the RW propaganda

10. Dana Bash just said.......

"Many Democrats are now worried that their party will spend all their time deciding which pro-Iraq war Democrat to oust next instead of focusing on the upcoming election"

I'd like to know which Democrats said that to Ms. Bash.

My quess is that NONE of them did!

11. Hilarious, sad, unbelievable.
I have not had any cable news on for ages except to see the Lamont coverage last night and to watch Olbermann.

They are really getting out those talking points, aren't they?

12. The corporate mass media has lost its token Democratic politician
and they don't like it. Every time they wanted to pretend to be fair and balanced they would trot out little Joe and five neocons. Little Joe would agree with all the neocons and it looked like even the democratic party was hard right. Now they've got to dig up Zell Miller and everyone knows he's a republic wannabe after his ridiculous behavior during the 2004 republic national convention.

15. Exactly right.
Joe performed a very important function for the Republican corporate media. He provided cover for their Party by being the designated "good" Democrat who could be counted on to undermine our opposition to Bush-Republicanism. Looks like they'll have to start finding some other "principled" Democrat who will trade face time for a sympathetic opinion on all things Republican.

14. We should just abolish the Congress
and replace it with a House of Lords. We could have hereditary peers instead of all those messy, icky elected officials. The American people are fed up with voting anyway, and the sensible ones don't bother to do it anymore.

I really think that this would solve all of America's problems.
