Lieberman has support from regular people too...
http://www.courant.com/news/politics/hc-lieberman0729.artjul29,0,6108928.story?page=2
------------------------

In Ansonia, Dorothy Bivens held a Lieberman sign on the sidewalk. A Mobile, Ala., resident visiting her daughter, Bivens seemed overcome when Lieberman stopped, shook her hand and thanked her for helping him on her vacation.

"I love Joe Lieberman," she said.

Asked why, her answer did not come from the day's suggested talking points: "Because he supports the president, and I support the president."

---------------------------------

...they are just republicans.

3. All sorts of Republicans are supporting Holy Joe.
And since Lieberman insists that he's a Democrat, that really oughta tell people something!

5. Using
that logic, Mitt Romney, a republican was elected in Massachussetts. Last time I looked that was a very democratic state. Does that mean that if Romney ran for President, you would support him?

There are still alot of democrats in the mold of Sam Nunn. To them, the support that Liberman has of the war is what they want. They are not idiots, stupid, misguided, ignorant or any other slang term. They have a different view on the war, that is all.

...primary bid. That includes Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Tom DeLay, and (in case you missed the recent DU threads) the goddamn College Republicans!

What the hell type of Democrat garners that kind of support? Answer: no Democrat who's getting my vote. And since I live in Connecticut, my vote is the one that matters, not yours.
