Meet Trent Lott's Opponent
After a primary and a runoff election Mississippi finally has a nominee to challenge rughead in November.

Mississippi State Representative Erik Fleming:

No doubt an uphill battle but us wacky red state liberals are gonna give it our best shot.

1. Well, Mr. Fleming has a strong ally
in you, Boss. The best of luck to him.

4. We are gonna give it our best shot
although the state party is somewhat in disarray. Our hearts are in the right place but our heads are all over the place.

3. I called Fleming as Lott's opponent months ago...
so yay for me! :)

Unfortunately, I also predicted (and still do) that he'll get eviscerated.

Still, you gotta give the man credit for running. It's better than in, say, Indiana, where Lugar runs unopposed

5. Maybe clipped
but I doubt eviscerated; although that is a "conservative" specialty.
