Democrats take the part of the albatross. Things just go from bad to worse. It sure feels that way to me and if 2006 doesn't bring results I will throw this damn albatross in the bay. When an Administration can out a Covert Agent dealing with National Security issues for pure political payback and laugh about it then what hope is there?

1. Water, Water Everywhere...

...and not a drop to drink... As the Mariner says as he lays on a ship surrounded by the sea, dying of thirst with that rotting albatross around his neck: "Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink..."

I feel like the political landscape is fawning over a bunch of emperors who are butt nekkid and waving in the wind. Meanwhile the press is oooo-ing and ahh-ing and the world is pointing and laughing ~ and as an American all I have to drink is salt water. Worse I am being told that I am drinking the finest wine, and I am crazy that all I see is a bunch of pale, scrawny, white-assed, pompous pigs when I should to be bowing down at their gaudy pretended majesty.
