Who picked Busby to run for the CA-50 seat?

We need smarter, more dynamic candidates if we expect to win any of these available seats. Her last minute gaffe was pathetic and somehow emblematic of how the Dem leadership has bungled opportunities to win.

1. You've said that in another thread. Busby picked herselt -the Dems weren't

challenging Cunningham. Without Busby's work in the 2004 election, there wouldn't have been a strong Dem candidate available to run for that seat.

If you can find a better candidate, start running that person for 2008.

I don't think you've followed the Busby campaign much nor know much about her, if you don't know this history.

2. Just because she had a last minute gaffe doesn't mean she's dumb!

Look at Mistah George Boooosh and his pathetic gaffes!

Overheard on a stage on the campaign trail telling one of his staffers "what an asshole one of the reporters was" (without knowing the mic was on)

And OMFG the list of his gaffes are enough for a book!
