We have 150 DAYS... What are YOU doing to win this election?
If you love your country, you have an important duty to work to elect a Democratic Majority in Congress and elect Democrats to state and local races. There are no excuses; it is up to us to help Democrats win back Congress and to stop Bush from wreaking even more havoc on this country.

Besides, does the phrase "House Majority Leader Jack Murtha" sound?

My question to you is: What have you done to elect Democrats?

I have:

1. Filed to become a precinct delegate;
2. Donated to the Michigan Democratic Party and Granholm for Governor;
3. Written a couple letters to the editor; and
4. Signed up to volunteer on a couple campaigns.

Now what about you?

2. I am working to elect vote fraud, whistle blower, Clint Curtis to Congress
Rollingments on the RFK Jr. Expose in Rolling Stone

“Rolling Stone and Robert Kennedy, Jr., should be given medals for bringing the ’04 election manipulations to a wider audience. Americans really aren’t yet aware just how vulnerable and insecure our elections are, or how easy it is to flip the results of a national election and change the course of the country. This is a very, very serious situation, with grave consequences for our democratic process”, said Curtis.

Curtis, a government whistleblower and election reform activist, knows from personal experience the extreme vulnerability of electronic voting machines: in 2000, while working as a computer programmer, he was asked by an elected government official to create a prototype vote-rigging computer program. That official was Tom Feeney, now a Congressman, (FL-24), close ally of disgraced former legislators Tom Delay and Duke Cunningham, former running mate of Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and a guest of Jack Abramoff on his infamous golf junkets to Scotland.

Honest, responsible, accountable government needs each and every one of us to do our part, and requires a commitment to ethics that stands firm even in the face of corruption, intimidation, and wrongdoing.

Tom Feeney thinks his seat is secure -- he tried to make sure it was when, as Florida House Speaker, he designed the district's boundaries himself. With your help we can raise the money and recruit the volunteers we need to send him packing.

4. Since you showed me yours, I'll show you mine
:toast:

I am coordinating a state House race here in MI, the 104th District. It's a very hands-on, time consuming position but, for the first time in ages, we have a viable candidate and a turning of the tide. I am active in my county party, have filed to be a precinct delegate and am currently the chair of the 4th Congressional District for Dem's State CentralCom.. I'm organizing regional fundraising events across the District to raise money for our US House candidate. I am also helping the Granholm and Stabenow as well as the State House caucus (with the marvelous Dianne Byrum as Minority Leader and caucus chair) to raise money throughout our 14 counties.

I put in a full time effort and am grateful to see others step up to help out. Many thanks for all you're doing in this crucial year. Especially for the Governor who is vulnerable.

:toast: Go Michigan!!!

Julie

104th district... Whose district is that?

And you're chairing the Coordinated Campaign for Huck? Awesome. I know one of our state House candidates in the 99th (Isabella and Midland).

13. 104th District
The 104th State House district is held by an R named Howard Walker. He's useless. Not chairing Huck's coordinated effort but am doing a lot for that campaign. Sadly they decided to have their HQ in one of the furtherst corners of the district, middle of nowhere, so I can only do so much for 2.5-3 hours away. I am coordinating our State House race though, seeing as it's in my own backyard and there was no one else to step up and keep things on task.

Midland is a county with great potential. I hope some day it is realized. Isabella rocks, all our counties could take lessons from that county party.

Cheers,
Julie

P.S. Will you be at convention in August?

6. Volunteering at Casey campaign western PA headquarters,
and driving two hours round trip to do so. Any amount of time or driving is worth it to defeat Santorum.

I also will volunteer for Murtha's campaign, as we are lucky enough here to have him as our congressman. House Majority Leader Jack Murtha sounds great!
