ReThug activist Richard Viguerie say Conservatives are PISSED OFF at GOP!
And he's got what looks like a very angry book coming out June 25, 2006 called "Conservatives Betrayed: How the Republican Party Hijacked the Conservative Cause," Just in time for the Fall Campaign season.

He was interviewed on NPR today (link below) and said that when he talks to Conservative Republicans, around the country, he says they are so pissed off at everything that the Bush Cabal and the Republican Controlled House and Senate are doing, they have no interest in voting for any of them, and a lot of them say they hope they lose this year.

I could try to explain this further, but you'll get much more from hearing this interview for yourself at the link below.

I think this is VERY good news for us (Democrats),

Enjoy!

GOP Groundswell Stems from Party Discontent

All Things Considered, June 9, 2006 ·
Conservative Republicans are expressing their unhappiness with
recent policies of the White House and the Congress. Melissa Block

about how the Republican Party can win them back. Viguerie has a forthcoming
book: Conservatives Betrayed: How George W. Bush and Other Big Government Republicans Hijacked the Conservative Cause.

2. Well stop voting Republican then you dumbasses
At this point I have no sympathy for anyone that votes for this criminal regime and then complains about it. They are responsible for putting this regime in place, so they can kiss my ass.

If they stopped voting Republican, then that's good, but what they really need to do is vote Democrat and get these bastards out of there. If they want to try and change their party after that's done, fine. But they need to undo the damage they've done. Until then, they are just as guilty as Bush.

4. IMO, you hit the nail right on the head
Kinda strange in the way....when you consider the Lieberman/Lamont situation....we ARE doing the same thing...and it's what we should do...The people we elect to represent us, are NOT supposed to forget they REPRESENT US....and that they CAN BE and SHOULD BE replaced if they do....
Welcome to DU..

5. I pretty much agree..
... "real" convervatives are for small and limited government. While I often think their priorities in that regard are short-sighted, in principle, I agree with them, being essentially a left wing conservative.

Bush is destroying the dollar, and the economy with it - and "real" conservatives, understanding economics being their strong suit, "get it". They ought to be pissed, the damage that Bush is doing will eventually fall squarely on the shoulders of Republicans, who will be out of power for a long time (not necessarily starting in 2006 or even 2008, but certainly by 2010).

That's a big price to pay and for what? So a few rich people and companies can loot the treasury, that's what.

welcome to DU :)

9. I have very little sympathy
They are only pissed because they have been left out of the looting party. If they were part of the Bush inner circle, and reaping the rewards, they wouldn't be complaining about the spiraling deficits and government spending.

7. He can try to separate the "conservatives" from the Republicans, but....
...they have both betrayed America.
