Which districts have real problems because of gerrymandering and which can we really win. Was watching MTP and they made a comment about 1994 all over again ( the opposite) and I was wondering could it really happen with all the mess they have made in the last 12 years?
Supposedly what is happening this year is that because Bush is so unpopular, and because of incumbent scandals (particularly Duke Cunningham and Tom DeLay), we are seeing more seats fall in to the competative margin.
What I find ridiculous is the idea that any district can be "safe" when only half of the country shows up to vote. I think that we could knock off 100+ incumbents if we would spend our resources getting millions of non-voters to vote instead of getting thousands of "swing voters" to vote for us.
