What is the Conservative Plan?
Edited on Sun May-07-06 10:26 PM by FogerRox
I tried posting this up at a local board here in NJ...... No Bush Supporter could come up with anything beyond staying in Power. My idea was a counter to the accusation the DEMS HAVE NO PLAN......... Which of course, we do. But it seems to be the Con Plan is to stay in Power, nothing about governing. LOL.

2. Take a look at the
stuff in this thread:

This seems to be what they want, even if a lot of it seems undefined and undefinable.

3. I think I've figured it out:
Turning America into a bunch of fat, stupid Jesus worshipers who have no concept of reality and dont question the government, putting massive, tax-free hikes on energy, gas and oil, and making sure that big business doesnt have to pay taxes while ordinary, hard-working Americans have to work multiple jobs to pay for everything.

Conservatives Beat Up Bush
Former Acolytes Have Much To Do With President's Tanking Poll Numbers
May 6, 2006
By RON FOURNIER, Associated Press

WASHINGTON -- Angry conservatives are driving the approval ratings of President Bush and the GOP-led Congress to dismal new lows, according to an AP-Ipsos poll that underscores why Republicans fear an Election Day massacre.

Six months out, the intensity of opposition to Bush and Congress has risen sharply, along with the percentage of Americans who believe the nation is on the wrong track.

The AP-Ipsos poll also suggests that Democratic voters are far more motivated than Republicans. Elections in the middle of a president's term traditionally favor the party whose core supporters are the most energized.

This week's survey of 1,000 adults, including 865 registered voters, found:

Just 33 percent of the public approves of Bush's job performance, the lowest of his presidency. That compares with 36 percent approval in early April. Forty-five percent of self-described conservatives now disapprove of the president.

16. That's strange. He's no different than their hero Reagan.
In terms of ideology, level of competence, and indulgence in corruption, there's virtually no difference between the Reagan and Bush Administrations. The only difference in results stem from:

1. Reagan had to deal with a Democratic House his whole presidency, and thus had a check on his power.
2. The Cold War placed constraints on his warmongering, so Reagan's aggression was typically done by proxy instead of using U.S. troops.

With Bush, Conservatives have exactly want they've always wanted: a Reagan with virtually no limits on his power. But being perpetual whiners, they still aren't happy.

blame the labor unions
blame the homosexuals
blame the jews
blame non white/aryan people
blame other non-christians

ok, who can name another famous elected head of state who used the same blame game?
