In 1948, Harry Truman ran against a "Do-Nothing" Congress....
Because they were rarely in and when they were, they were voting against the interests of common people and for the interests of Wall Street. Dr. Jim McDermott just noted on the floor of the House that this present Congress has been in session 11 days less than the "Do-Nothing" Congress of 1948! There must be some connection to the degree of fear in re-election and the days in session?
