A story on AOL about hybrid autos. It just seems so ...damned commercial, like global warming is just the latest fad and "here's what you can do to stave off the effects, family of 4.2."

Plus, the lead teaser on the main page is the question "fill er up .....with corn?", like it was "WHAAAAA?" or "Yuk yuk, do you believe this guy?"

Folks, why is it that WE already knew the truth, but it seems like the press for the most part (ok granted this is AOL) is treating the issue like it's what's next on American Idol. Why isn't it being treated like the potentially calamitous BUT SOMEWHAT REVERSIBLE climate change that it is!

Don't you hate it when things that shouldn't matter do, and things that should matter don't?
