7. Sure hope so.
Still, the fat lady hasn't sung. Nevertheless, I have my fingers and toes and legs and arms and eyes crossed.

9. Another American Pravda "push" poll with 2/3 of the answers...
favorable to Chimpy, and yet he somehow still loses with 78% of the respondents voting for the one negative answer.

Good-bye, apeman. Don't let the door hit you on your banana-streaked a$$ on the way out.

10. 90% feel it was either wrong/cynical or at the very least hypocritical.
This is a PR nightmare for him.

What little political capital he had left is :nuke:

13. Dems in Congress Saying Something About Bush Authorizing Leak
Reaction to the court papers alleging President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney directed a leak campaign against critics of the Iraqi war:

"In light of today's shocking revelation, President Bush must fully disclose his participation in the selective leaking of classified information. The American people must know the truth." _ Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

___

"One of the constants in the Bush administration's miserable record on Iraq has been manipulation of intelligence precisely for political purposes. That has caused our intelligence _ which used to be accepted without questions around the world _ to be viewed with skepticism by the international community." _ House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California.

___

"If the president of the United States is authorizing leaks of classified material in order to destroy people who oppose his point of view, or go after them, then something is really unbelievably wrong with their standards, as well as the lack of accountability in this administration." _ Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.

___

"If the disclosure is true, it's breathtaking. The president is the leaker-in-chief." _ Rep. Jane Harman of California, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.

___

"The president said early on he wanted to get to the bottom of this. I think it's now long past the point the president and vice president come out and level with the American people." _ Former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Wilson, Plame's husband.
