Please rate my LTTE on Bush and Global Warming:
On March 29, 2006 President Bush was asked after a speech what his plan for global warming is. His answer - taken from the White House webpage - was: "Good. We -- first of all, there is -- the globe is warming. The fundamental debate: Is it manmade or natural."
I was not aware that there was any real debate anymore about the cause of global warming. It's accepted to be caused by greenhouse gasses and we as humans create a lot of those gasses.
It's growing increasingly obvious that the entry of George Bush into politics was a black day for the entire world. And for all those editors with pen poised, no that is not anti-Americanism. If anything is anti-American, it's Bush himself.

(to put the last two lines into perspective, I'm Canadian. We're CONSTANTLY accused of being "anti-American" if we critisize American government policy)

1. Or don't.
:)

It's damn good, and I know it. Soon to be published.

2. Well, maybe you could wait more than 25 minutes before snarking!
;)

Overall I like it. It's brief and to-the-point. Too often LTTE's are rambling rants whose cumbersome length all but guarantees that they won't be published. Best of luck with yours.

If I'd make one suggestion, I'd say that the line about "a black day" may be just a mite over-written, but that's a stylistic choice.

Let us know if it gets published.

3. You might work on how he's said that "the verdict is still out" on Darwin
May as well piss off the flat-earth "Christians" along with the flat-earth oil biz twits.
