Now the DU search function is even better!

Elad has just finished an overhaul of our search function to make it more user friendly and more powerful.

Now, when you click "Search" you are taken to a new Simple Search page that lets you easily perform general searches on active threads. Note that the default values have been changed so you can quickly perform the search you're trying to do.

For more powerful searches, we now have "Advanced Search" functionality. Just click the appropriate link on the Simple Search page and you are taken directly to the Advanced Search page.

The Advanced Search page lets you search all actived threads and archive threads. You can narrow your searches by the following criteria:

- Search by author and keyword.
- Search an entire thread, or just the first post.
- Search a specific date range, starting and ending on particular dates.
- Search active threads and archives seamlessly in the same search.

Click the search icon anywhere on DU to test it out!
