Didn't the GOP quash the sale of a US oil company to the Chinese

just a few months ago citing "national security" as the reason a foreign country should not own an American oil company? So how is it that it's bad for a foreign country to own an oil company but it's not bad for a country who has had a lot of shady dealings with Al Qaeda to control our ports?

Is this a flip flop of GOP proportions?

3. It seems to be happening as we speak

A national ethics problem for the GOP, with convictions/investigations/accusations ranging from Florida (Harris, just this weekend), California, Texas, and Ohio.

A political backlash against the neocons and the religious right as seen in almost all of the special elections held this year.

The push by the GOP to ban abortions while they still have control of the government. I think they see the end coming and it ain't Armageddon I'm talking about.

I feel better than I have in 6 years.
