So the guy is not photogenic. Neither am I. Are you really trying to forward he argument that "ugly" people are Republicans?

2. This is the guy whose eyes just about shot out of their sockets

when Whittington mentioned that the accident happened on Friday. I think we're talking more about expressions than actual physical looks.

...you're 100% correct. It IS about the guy's EXPRESSIONS, and I have seen other photos on DU in which the guy's eyes ABSOLUTELY looked like they were going to "shoot out of their sockets."

Also, it seems pretty obvious (from the video clip) that this guy is a HANDLER...I mean, SERIOUSLY. All of the boys and girls who think that he was sent by Karl Rove, stand on THIS side of the room. All of you who think he was sent by Howard Dean, stand over HERE.

they are about the ugliest things in all creation- the only contretemp would be whether the guy is a freep or isn't (and just being with the Chucky Cheney group says 'freep')

8. No, I'm trying to forward the argument that...

...he's standing suspiciously behind Whittington during the video, his eyes are darting back and forth, and those eyes would be horror movie-worthy if he were a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Shriner, Knight of Columbus, Cub Scout, or a member of Little Orphan Annie's Secret Decoder Society.

That's the argument I'm trying to forward, but actually, I'm not arguing at all.

I made an observation OF an onservation, and (as is the case in 100% of my posts on DU) I'm not looking for agreement. I'm just throwing it out there.

I say that in all sincerity, as a guy who is excruciatingly photogenic.
