LA airliner strike -Simple truths expose the lie....

OK....several foreign nations aid us in stopping a suicide attack against the "Liberty Tower"....But does this attack make ANY sense??? Past the absurd visual of determined "shoe bombers" flying the plane into the tower with their bloody stumps steering the rudder pedals we miss a more important point-THIS AIN'T HOW THE FIRST ATTACK WENT!!!
Think back,4 planes,against 4 targets,against 2 cities, from 2 airports-multiple redundancy carried off on a tight time schedule to maximize the chances of success.New weapons and tactics...boxcutters and suicide."Total" surprise....
So now the same "mastermind" who put together a unique plan sets up to deliver the sequel and plans a single plane, using a weapons tactic (shoe bombing) that has already been tried and failed and which IS routinely screened for,and then in a master twist of deviousness goes right back to a predictable pattern???
I'm sure this plot line would work however for a "My Pet Goat" sequel...

4. Putting It Out Now

Do you think Bush put out this information today to take attention away from the comments of the Congressman who claimed that Bush did not want to capture Bin Laden? Could it be that Bush was to take attention from the announcement that Cheney gave Libby the go ahead on releasing the Plame information? It just seems that he put this information out in order to take away the heat from his other problems.

You are right. This plot just does not seem to work. For one you could ask if they planned to fly the plane into the tallest building why would they need to blow up the plane. It seems that if they blow up the plane before they hit the building there is only little damage to the building. That makes it seem that the shoe bombing tactic would pretty much so be worthless if they were planning to fly the plane into a building.

11. Pilot Backed out

This may be another blow to Bush's case about the L.A. attack that was stopped. The man who supposedly had been recuirted to fly the plane backed out after he saw the results of 9/11. The Today show is reporting that one of the Asian countries said to have helped stop the attack pointed out that the pilot backed out.

Either they caught the world's dumbest terrorists or -- the almost certain truth -- KKKarl Rove blew the whole story out his ass on the assumption that nobody would question it. Puhleeze! Some doofus just moseys up to the cockpit door, takes off his sneakers and sets them off before anybody notices? And then assuming they get that far, now there's a big damn hole in the airplane, making it impossible to crash it into anything.

I suppose Bush's credulous dumbass base might buy this stupid story, but to anybody with an IQ higher than that of a chipmunk it's laughable.

They could've created a more credible scenario if they had claimed that the plan was for shoe bombers to threaten to blow up the plane unless the pilot turned over the controls.(And even that scheme wouldn't have worked). But claiming that the shoe bombs were going to be used to "breach" the pilots doors? That's so lame as to be utterly laughable.
