Republicans love Bush because...
Because he wears cowboy boots and pretends he's a tough guy. They don't really care what his policies are so long as he badmouths the Democrats and kicks ass overseas. They don't worry about lies, wars, spying, or huge debts, so long as he keeps talking like a Texan. They channel their own personal cowardice through Dubya. They truly believe he is going to kick everybody's ass and there will be no consequences. They love the image and the bullshit and the arrogance. It's a disease without a known cure.

5. There is a certain faction in
this country that Glorifies Ignorance and the simplistic violence that comes with it.

Reagan did it.....he made ignorance (notice I didn't day stupidity, just ignorance, or willfully uneducated or willfully uninformed._) NOBLE . Somehow or another the Republican Party which represents and protects the elite in the country have convinced many that ignorance is akin to being the "noble savage" of literature fame.

18. They probably do think they are more intelligent than the president
But it wouldn't take much of a brain to be smarter than George W. Bush.
They couldn't be too intelligent or they wouldn't be behind Bush. :dunce:

17. He makes those with no power in their own lives
feel powerful in the greater scheme of things.

Me, if I don't like my life, I can change it because I am smart, educated, intelligent and resourceful. Many wingnuts cannot. So he gives them that elusive feeling of power.

21. those who now worship Bush are frightened of liberal voters..
Republicans love it whenever a Democrat loses. But in the election Republicans could care less about winning more votes or welcoming new voters into their party. Republicans love power but hate winning votes. Republicans are more terrified that the Democratic Party might die than of the possibility of Democrats winning in the next election.

Neocons are terrified of liberals running..or even voting in the Republican primaries. Republicans are worried that they will have nobody to blame if the Democratic Party doesn't exist. This is one reason the "War on Terror" is so important, because once the Democrats are gone...who will Republicans attack to stay in power? The terrorists of course, and when liberals start moving into the Republican party, then we must be attacked as anti-American traitors.

Those who support Bush need someone to attack as perverted, immoral, lawless, godless, or as part of that dangerous tax and spend counterculture. If Republicans insult, attack, and demoralize us..then we would not join their party. :spank:

The rest is up to us, life is a ..!
