Olympic Sliming - who, when, how fast?
You just KNOW the Three Monkey Media will find some way to slime the Olypics organizers, the program, the opening ceremony, the actions of some obscure olympian ... whetever.

Who do you think will be the first?

Will we see it the morning after the opening ceremony?

How fast will the sliming take to get full trumpet coverage? Same night? Next day?

I can just hear the assorted moralizers, shrews, harpies, finger waggers, and other nutjob camp followers and court jesters. Will Nancy "Flaming Nostrils of Outrage" Grace, "Regular" Joe Scarborough, Rita "See Me Fit Myself into a Fuschia Sausage Casing" Cosby, Larry "Limpballs" King, or someone else be the first out of the blocks with the slime?

1. Bribery, vote rigging, blood doping, kickbacks
Let the Games begin!

The IOC is a predatory organization that is still allowed to police itself in spite of scandal after scandal.

This month began with the release of the US Olympic Committee Ethics Panel's probe into the Salt Lake City bid, in which $US1.2 million was paid to IOC delegates to secure their votes. Headed by former US Senator George S. Mitchell, the Ethics Panel provided detailed evidence about IOC delegates who received cash, all-expenses paid travel and accommodation, luxury gifts, and other bribes.

Mitchell accused the IOC of lacking "ethical control" and tolerating a culture that was "potentially illegal and inevitably corrupt". The Ethics Panel said the IOC had been "gravely damaged" and called for reform at "local, national and international level".
