How the Repukes are Feeding off of our "Failures"
I've posted the whole thing. I hope you find it both terrifying and amusing. The irony of the blocking the Alito confirmation segment is stunning. Maybe you'll think twice before trashing "liberals like Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Barbara Boxer"

Stop the Cut and Run Democrats!

Howard Dean and the Democrat Party have made regaining control of the U.S. Senate their Number One Priority in 2006. If they win, their cut and run policy in Iraq will become law. And liberals like Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Barbara Boxer will steer the Senate to the far left. Help protect our Republican Senate Majority by clicking the button below and making a generous contribution today. Thank you!

Elizabeth Dole
Chair, NRSC

I'm confident you follow the news out of Washington closely.
And if you do, you've probably read and heard a number of pundits proclaiming that the Democrats have a strong opportunity to regain control of the U.S. Senate in this coming election.
I'm emailing you today because I need your help to protect our Republican Senate Majority.
If there's one issue that shows why our Republican Senate Majority is so important, it is the War on Terror.

The national leader of the Democrat Party, Howard Dean, recently proclaimed "the idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong."

In November, 40 of 45 Senate Democrats voted to cut and run from Iraq when they supported a resolution demanding a timeline for withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.
If they succeed in gaining control of the Senate, the Democrats' retreat and defeat policy could become the law of the land.

But that's not all, these liberals want us to turn to the United Nations for leadership in international affairs. They look to Europe for clues about how to manage our foreign policy, how to run our health care system, and even how to decide court cases.

President Reagan had it right when he called these liberal Democrats the "blame America first crowd."

That is why it is so important for you to click here to help our 2006 campaign to protect our Republican Senate Majority.

Your commitment of $33 - just $1 for each Senate race in 2006 - or $66 - just $2 for each race - will help the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) provide essential campaign programs for our hard working candidates.

The NRSC is the Republican Party's official campaign committee for our United States Senators and Senate candidates. It is up to the NRSC to provide research, training, candidate assistance, and get-out-the-vote efforts on behalf of the Republican men and women running for Senate in 2006.

But our resources are stretched very thin. And if we are unable to raise $4 million per month this year, we will be forced to cut back crucial programs our candidates depend on.

So please, show your commitment to our Republican Senate Majority by clicking here and making a contribution of $33 or $66 right now.

Make no mistake: if the liberal Democrats gain control of the Senate, they'll immediately attempt to:

* Reverse the Bush tax cuts that have created strong economic growth and new jobs;
* Cut and run in Iraq, denying our soldiers the chance to accomplish their mission of rooting out the terrorists and bringing democracy and stability to the embattled people of Iraq;
* Block conservative judges like Samuel Alito from joining the Supreme Court; and
* Effectively end our hopes of implementing the Bush Agenda.

Please don't let them succeed! Instead, take just one minute right now to click and pledge your support for the NRSC right away.

Thank you and may God bless you.

With heartfelt thanks,
Senator Elizabeth Dole
NRSC Chair

1. They are getting desperate
They have failed to get quality candidates in several open races and to challenge incumbent democrats so all they can do is name call.

3. Jersey Dem?
Welcome. I don't think they have any reason to be desperate at this point. Did you read that letter. The MSM repeats this crap over and over.

4. She left out the part about the lies that made the Iraq war possible.
Those same lies are responsible for the huge $400 billion deficit she also forgot to mention when she blasted the Democrats for having the common sense to "reverse the Bush tax cuts."
