Who funds the DLC anyways?
and how do we dry up the funding?

If the Democrat Party in general funds it, no more donations to them from me!

How long has this group been around? It's destroying our party from within!
They're exactly like the Freepers that lurk here who can't help but come out with --to US!-- "loony left" & other Limboisms, and try to convince us of how GOOD and PROPER the Right is.
That pure nerve is amazing -- yet typical!
Well if its so fucking good then just GO THERE! LEAVE! GET THE FUCK OUT! QUIT trying to convince us that wealth for a few at the cost of human misery and lives is a Democratic interest! ...or that torture is OK, or that the abrogation of our Constitution is just ducky!
And then tell use we should appease and work with the very people who advocate all this evil!
Insidious fucking bastards! Democrat Leadership CANCER is more like it!
They personify the definition of 'nursing a viper in one's bosom'.
I mean, what GOOD are they, really? What have they been RIGHT about?
WHAT do they accomplish but CHAOS?

And who really listens to them and WHY??

I'll bet if you dug into their finances, you'd be surprised at who donates to them... you can't even call them Republican Lite -- they're pure Republican and what's worse, in sheep(le's) clothing!

We cannot win until we rediscover our true voice, principles, and COURAGE; and with these parasites in our body politic it's going to be a Sisyphean task!

Sorry for the rant and the cursing, but I just cannot understand why these traitors are still in our midst, seemingly important; still getting funding, still getting press and are being listened to by somebody, and haven't LONG been given a hearty mug of Shut The Fuck UP AND GO AWAY!

1. WTF is the "DEMOCRAT PARTY?"
Democrat is not an adjective.

7. so it's akin to Lobbying?
And how come, in any other situation, 'Lobbying' would rightfully be called BRIBERY?

So the DemocratIC Party does not fund the DLC?

to provide "leadership", and fundraise amongst corporations.
the DLC, on their own website, acknowledges they don't comprise the majority of Dem membership, but feel empowered to whip the rest of us into shape, and halter us to their wagon.

If I'm wrong about that, please someone correct me.

edited: sorry to say I forgot to actually answer your question.

yes, its like lobbying in this regard: its money that passes directly from corporations to candidates. As voters, we don't even need to exist for that to happen, so there's no way for us to "dry up" that money. We can dry up grassroots contributions, or self-direct contributions to individual candidates, but we can't do a thing about corporate sponsors, and they are the lifeblood of the DLC.

8. Clinton et al
Bill Clinton and Al Gore were early leaders in the DLC. The DLC is essentially the non wack-job arm of the party.

14. MadFloridian does great work...
exposing the DLC for what they are -- GOP/corporate hacks who have infiltrated the Democratic Party. Their corporate donations list reads like a who's who of the top corporations -- Monsanto, Dow, Exxon Mobile - if I recall correctly.

The DLC is nothing but corporate America hedging its bets to keep the money spigit flowing.
