Gale & Jack sittin' in a tree
Edited on Mon Jan-30-06 12:36 PM by George Oilwellian

Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton in one of more than 5,000 photos taken during her tenure. From left to right: Steve Gleason Inspector General for the Mississippi Band of Choctaws,
Phillip Martin, Chief Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, Secretary Norton, C. Bryant Rogers, Outside Counsel for Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, and Jack Abramoff.
The photo was taken February 5, 2002.

I had to laugh at the caption...it was just one of thousands of photos Ms. Norton has posed for! This one just HAPPENS to be with Abramoff and one of the tribes he was bilking. Ms. Norton just HAPPENS to have POWER over Indian affairs. :D

1. So does that mean
this is one of 5,000 cases of corruption under Gail Norton's tenure?

2. I'm sure if....
you delved into her lowering environmental protection, you'll find all kinds of pics with lobbyists working for energy companies.

3. So they are now rewriting captions?
Did they go back and rewrite all the captions where Abramoff appeared? I'm surprised they didn't just purge the photo.

4. No Stephanie....
I'm sure the photo she posed for before this one was captioned "Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton in photo number 4,999 taken during her tenure."
