Has the truth finally awakened ?
Without the truth, no amount of passion or reason can change people's perspectives - especially if their perspectives are set in partisan concrete. However, from listening to some talking heads and reading the latest editorial by the NYTimes, we have reason to be encouraged that the truth is no longer asleep.

The lies of this Administration have been accepted without question for more than 4 years now and the damage done to our country and our people is immense. They could say or do anything and were not held responsible. They could torture people and spy on American citizens and nobody called them on their deeds.

But now, just in the last few days it seems, people are challenging them on their lies. Where are the pictures with Abramoff? Did the president break the law by spying? Where is the roadmap to peace in the Middle East? The truth is awake and looking for some answers, it appears.

2. We've won something important here
It doesn't matter if the filibuster is upheld or defeated....we've already won something very important.

We have won the ATTENTION of the elected officials and the public....we have won RESPECT...we have won RESPECTABILITY.

And we have won the most important thing of all

CONFIDENCE....WE NOW HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT WE SHALL PREVAIL
