The Imperial Executive
It just occured to me, we're using THEIR frame again. We have a chance to get ahead of this, I think we should email all our left leaning publications, bloggers and think tanks and tell them to NOT EVER say unitarian executive and substitute Imperial Executive, because that's what it really is. I was starting to read this thread and realized they've won half the battle just to get us to use that ambiguous term that they just made up.

2. You are so right, sand
We must exploit and frame language the way they do. And "IMPERIAL" is no exaggeration. SG

3. You're SO right!
Dems should STOP using the GOP-generated vocabulary, and call things what they are.

Example: There are two camps when it comes to abortion rights: Pro-Choice and ANTI-CHOICE! This Pro-Life crap is as representative of anti-choicers as the 'Clean Skies Initiative' is of lax anti-polltion laws.

5. Good point.

I personally think that we ought to come right out and call it what it is: a one party tyranny led by an imperial executive, but I'd settle for the more sound-biteish imperial executive.

6. Exactly. 95% of people have no clue what "unitary executive theory" is.
