Rove on Faux- Dividing the nation when we are under attack. Good one.
Talking about the Republicans making for a strong front against terror in 2006, and that the Democrats certainly would not.

Again the "you are either with us or you want terrorists to attack" line. A smack on the Democrats.

Sorry, the Democrats aren't trying to demonize everyone who stands in their way. Or believe that others stand in their way. Or are actively trying to divide the country at a time, under terrorist threat, when unity is required. The Republicans seem to want to divide our country into an even more fearful, divided and thus unstable position in the face of terrorist attack. If this doesn't benefit America, all Americans working together, then who does it benefit? Could it be those who want total control of everything, and won't let little things such as US law stand in their way?

And how would they be able to say that Democrats wouldn't be against terror? It's an opinion at best. If they wish to claim it as a fact, does that fact come from illegally wiretapping Democratic Party Headquarters? Mmm?

Who voted for these people and why?

3. In case a child accidently ingests poison, turn on Fox News.
Then after they puke, take them to the ER.

6. Ding. And why couldn't they have prevented 9/11?
And why does the 9/11 Panel give them failing grades regarding terrorism since 9/11?

8. And if they are so great with
readiness and remediation and mitigation - how could they screw up Katrina-Rita-Wilma so bad.

10. Because they and their friends will profit from eminent domain in Nawlins?
I'm still waiting to see how it gets carved up and who gets paid how much to rebuild and for whom.

5. Yeah, they've trotted Rove out as he tries to mainstream.
I got snakin' suspicious Rove is about to be indicted, and they're trying to get him some positive face time before it comes down.

9. How about every time a repug says "your with us or agin' us!"
The Dems say, Corruption and Incompetence (and point to Delay, Frist, Chimpy, Condi, Rove et al) or Leadership and Statesmanship and point to a good dem? Of course, I don't mean Hillary. Maybe Barack?

11. Hitler and Stalin were enemies in WWII...
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 09:55 PM by Dunvegan
...and although Stalin was an uneasy bedfellow with the Allies, there is no specious argument extant that could convince me of anything other than the fact that both the Der Fuhrer and the author of the Great Purge were murderous despots.

They were both grossly wicked heinous bastards and international war criminals.

The blood of scores of millions of innocents are on both thier heads.

I refuse to choose one totalitarian tyrant over an other equally tyrannical oppressor just because they are on opposite sides.

A false dichotomy: Bush or bin Laden.

Truth is both are enemies of our Federalist democracy and the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of the American people.

OBL or Bush? Same same.
