I have contacted both my Sens, it is easy to voice against Alito...
Throw in the need for appointing special prosecution to investigate for illegal actions from the Current Admin. If you are on this site, then you know it is a perogative and must be done.

keep up the fight, our struggle will prevail.

NOT A Done Deal, NOT A Done Deal

NEW ACTION PAGE TO FILIBUSTER ALITO: http://www.nocrony.com

CALL YOUR SENATORS RIGHT NOW at 888-818-6641, 888-355-3588 or 800-426-8073.

NEWS FLASH: THE ALITO VOTE HAS BEEN DELAYED A WEEK. WE CAN WIN THIS!!!

We've noticed the most curious thing. Publically Alito's supporters
state pronouncements that his confirmation is a "done" deal. And yet
behind the scenes they are stilly lobbying furiously for a vote as
quickly as they can get it. What do we make of this?

It's con, folks. It's a great big honking corporate media lie. There
is only one way the extreme right wing can win this one, and that is
by discouraging the rest of us from speaking out. We'd have to be
pretty stupid to go for that one, huh? We'd have to be total chumps,
huh? Why else would anyone surrender a fight when they had the
numbers to win?

And we do have the numbers. We are the majority. The president is
back down to 39% approval rating and dropping again. And even if the
majority did NOT oppose their radical dictator president agenda, and
all we need are 41 votes to filibuster. We HAVE 41 votes. We HAVE 41
votes. We HAVE 41 votes. All we need to win is to exercise the power
we have, the will to win!

We'll make you a deal. For the next two weeks, we all repeat these
words as a mantra

ALITO IS NOT A DONE DEAL

2. I agree. We can do this. Just because MSM thinks it is a done deal
only tells me what the spinmeisters want us to think. Tell your senators that you want them to go to the mat for you and for the constitution.

as they do so WANT it to be a fore-gone conclusion, particularly in the minds of the American public.

Another case of media creating reality.

Don't let them get away with it. Call and request a filibuster.

6. I called the local and DC offices of both of mine this morning and told
them that "under no circumstances should Alito be confirmed to sit as a justice on the court." Frist's staffers didn't seem too happy, Alexander's were pleasant enough.

I don't really expect mine to go to the mat for me or the Constitution, they're just getting those Bush** rubberstamps ready.

5. The phones in Washington are Busy Busy Busy Busy Busy!
all morning, i've been trying to get calls through. Busy Busy Busy Busy Busy Busy Busy signals is all I get.

I did get through to Nancy Pelosi's local office and conveyed as much as i could even though she's in the House, i asked her to push the Senate leadership to do the right thing and filibuster this nominee, while on the phone the other lines could be heard ringing off the hook.

I tried to get through Harry Reid's office but was unable to so far, due to ... but busy busy busy busy signals.

I think we are getting through - now if they ignore this groundswell of opposition, they're going to be in deep do do and i think they know it.

let's keep it up!

7. I was put on hold
when I called both Sen. Lincoln and Sen. Pryor. Do we need to call their local offices, too, or is the one time to each enough? Do they check to see who calls more than once?

8. Rec'd -- When you call, remember that the vote is as important as the
filibuster.

When Roberts came up for vote, the Democrats split 22-22 on confirmation.

Unless we get a unanimous (or very near unanimous) "no on Alito" vote, filibuster will be impossible.

Moreover, if we do not succeed in stopping Alito - WE NEED AMERICA TO KNOW THAT THE STREAM OF BAD RULINGS FROM ALITO ARE THE RESULT OF A REPUBLICAN VS. DEMOCRAT STRAIGHT PARTY LINE VOTE AND WE DID NOT AND DO NOT APPROVE!

Goal 1 -- Party Unanimity Against Alito
Goal 2 -- Filibuster Alito

Please tell your Senators.

10. I came up with a brainstorm when I was on the phone with Mel Martinez's
office. I told the guy that Martinez had better vote no on Alito or Alito would give too much power to the executve office and we would end up with a leader with as much dictatorial powers as Fidel Castro.

I'm saying, it just came to me.
