Get A Bill Started To Put All Congressmen On Social Security
This is a 2006 election issue! It doesn't matter if you are a Republican or Democrat - Get a Bill started to place ALL Congressmen on Social Security.

This just came on my e-mail and sounds reasonable to me. How about you?

2. I say get them off of government run
health care. Let's hear them explain why it's good for them but would be a disaster for the rest of us.

9. They're not on government run health care
unless things have changed. See below, when my husband served in Congress he had Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance and had to pay his premium and deductible. He served form 1987-1993. Maybe things have changed

3. They're already on Social Security. Check snopes.com
This is one of those "moral outrage" email scams.

8. Members of Congress pay into Social Security as well as pay their
own health care premium. When my husband served in Congress his health insurance was proved by Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the same health insurance he has now, he was responsible for his premium payment and the deductible.
