1. DeLay and Hastert kept the voting open. Remember?

NOBODY let Hastert off the hook for this legislation. Bring up his name every time.

4. Do you rememberwho bribed the rep whose son was running for
aome political office by telling him if he didn't vote yes, they not only wouldn't help him, they'd make sure he lost? I remember the story, but I can't recall the names or if he ever said who it was that threatened him.

It sounds like a DeLay strategy to me though.

6. 'an unusually long three-hour vote ended...at 6 a.m."
unconscionable tactics

"Last month, the House passed the measure after Bush made late-night, last-minute phone calls asking members to support it. An unusually long three-hour vote was ended by GOP leaders at 6 a.m., after a 218 to 216 deficit flipped to a 220 to 215 victory.

"The Senate's 54-to-44 vote was not entirely along party lines -- 10 Democrats voted in favor and nine Republicans voted no."

just a note:
Though the article said 10 Sen. Dems voted for it, I believe it was 11 of 'em.

3. Keep it pumped and kicked and recommended. We have to link these
criminals everything they were involed in just to get the public to pay attention.
