CNN: "Bush 'proud' of nominee's performance" Aww...Scalito's a GOOD boy!
Here's a fuckin' Scooby Snack for ya, shithead...at least they had the honesty to call it a "performance."

Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito took a step toward confirmation Thursday as he wrapped up testimony before a Senate panel after 18 hours of questioning in which he appeared to avoid any obvious political pitfalls. President Bush, calling Alito from Air Force One, said "Proud of the way you handled it... showed great class."

3. At this point, someone needs to Photoshop...
...Alito's innocuous, doughy face onto Barney in a picture where GW's holding him.

4. He showed nothing at all
It's his RECORD that speaks the loudest.

And as Kos says, the onus was on Alito to repudiate his reputation as a big brother type government apologist.

He did no such thing.

6. Heckuva job there, Sammy
"Proud of the way you handled it... showed great class."

Oh, brother. W wouldn't know "class" if it reached out and bit him on the ass. If he did, he would have shown some himself.

8. Damn, I'm the third one to say "You're doing a heckuva job, Sam."

Well, play it again, Sam, 'cause I just had to say it.

* did say today that New Orleans is "a heckuva good place." Yeah, "fabulous" to use another of his favorite words.
