Republicans want nothing more than to cover up their illegalities and to cast Democrats as being every bit as involved as Republicans or even more so. So to stop them right in their tracks just say "OK Let's Investigate" That is when they start their hemming and hawing. The very last thing they want is any sort of investigation because they do know the truth even if they never utter it. Most Liberals I know want all corruption gone whether it be Republican, Democratic, or Independent. "Let's Investigate" Let the chips fall where they may but it is sooo sweet to utter those words "Let's Investigate" and watch them shrivel up before your eyes..

I'd much rather have the FACTS on my side and be able to refute their accusations than simply spout "No Democrat recieved money from Abramoff" because he didn't PERSONALLY contribute money to them.

What the hell is wrong with that response? Why do we expect our Dems to fight for us when we're ready to throw them overboard before they've even been accused of anything.
