DiMinici: "(ANWR) is dead for the year"
Edited on Wed Dec-21-05 01:09 PM by ticapnews
Quoted by Ben Geman on C-SPAN2.

He was getting on an elevator and said to the reporters outside that ANWR is dead for the year and that they will have to put it on a bill next year.

Victory!

For now.

5. I assume he meant they would not reconsider ANWR before leaving for XMas
They will tack it onto a bill in when they come back in January and we'll have the fight all over again.

will throw another infantile tantrum and resign in disgust?

We should be so lucky.

9. That's how they got bankruptcy laws changed
They kept coming back, year after year after year, until they finally twisted enough arms and secured the votes.
