L. Tammy Duckworth, distinguished Iraq veteran
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 12:28 AM by Erika
who lost her legs and whose arms were severely injured is now running as a democrat, for Henry Hyde's seat.

The freepers are already downing her. They don't like anyone who actually fought for their country.

Laura Ingraham has consistently said Duckworth was a role model for all Americans and service people.

I'm sure Laura will now join the right and the freepers in downing her. Partisan hacks against vets.

2. I saw her interview

and it was pretty good. Only thing I didn't agree with is about the Iraq elections. They aren't going to help them be free unless you like an Islamic religious theocracy. I think, from the interview, she'd do pretty well in Congress and it seems like a good place to get started in politics. How sad they diss any democrat who has served their country who runs for office like her and Max Cleland and John Kerry. *Sigh* I believe they also got Wesley Clark. A four star general. Oy! I'll never understand a freeper's mind. And on "This Week" it was told that almost all of them are democrats. My district we have a guy running who is a vietnam veteran. I think 2006 will be the year for the vets.

3. We've elected enough GOP Chickenhawks
so I do hope we elect democratic vets.

I'm still curious as to how Laura Ingraham will justify going against Tammy after calling her an American hero for months.

5. The thing is, the only voters whose opinions really matter are those

of Illinois' 6th district. I really look forward to them making the right decision, though I have no idea what it will be. Both Democratic candidates are excellent. How I wish I could face such a choice. Usually, I my choice in elections is "skank" over "skankier" here in Mississippi.
