Tweety: "I LOVE polls. Giuliani is #1, McCain is #2 in your party."
Just now, on Hardball, speaking with coy little shit Mitt Romney on whether he's going to attempt a presidential run in 2008.

Romney felt that "either one" would be a "fine" president "after President Bush finishes his run."

someone needs to fasten a drool cup onto Tweety's chin. He's extra-juicy today.

:silly:

2. Is Giuliani actually running?
I know McCain is--he's been kissing up to Boosh for the last two years. But I haven't heard much about Rudy running--Has he been to NH or Iowa? How far can he ride this 9/11 thing?

4. I haven't heard him talk about running...
...but I also have not heard him say "I'm not running."

At least six months ago (maybe longer) I heard him say in an interview that it was "too early" to seriously consider it.

Suffice it to say that of the Karl Rove machine positions itself behind a Giuliani run, he'll "consider" it. Then he'll do it.

5. As far as Rudy Guilliani goes....
Mitt Romney says at some point during the interview that "Republicans will never elect a pro-choice candidate"

I'm wondering if Guilliani will jump into the race against Hillary for U.S. Senate?

8. Hillary would kick his raunchy ass & wipe that arrogant look off his
cocky face. I'd love it if he jumped in and tried to unseat her, just to see his bubble get burst.

3. If you're watching the re-run.. you'll like Tweety when he gets to Rove
He's REALLY getting into the leak case BIG TIME and he seems to think Rove is goin' down -- and that Bushie Boy will suffer as a result.

Keep watching.. He's much, MUCH better when he gets on the CIA case.

Must be part of that split-personality thing!

6. It's TRUE...
...and yes, I'm watching the re-run.

Tweety consistently seems pro-Bush on everything EXCEPT the leak case.

7. Nah, doesn't redeem him.
His Bush butt-sniffing is repulsive, and his contempt for the Dems is palpable. His only interest in the CIA leak is sensational.

9. Well, at least Tweety
Edited on Mon Dec-12-05 07:42 PM by Bushwick Bill
...beat on him pretty good about the War being for oil. Tweets even tried to pin him down about how the Gulf War was, too, and Romney was fumbling around trying to justify it on Kuwait autonomy. Hilarious. As Jim Kunstler always says, any discussion of the war without addressing oil concerns is disingenous.

Oil trade has now become a dead heat race between supply and demand, with demand looking like the stronger horse coming into the home stretch. As it overtakes supply, even more strange changes will unfold on the world scene. These are likely to take the form of fierce geopolitical struggles to gain favor in or control those regions that still have a lot of oil, foremost the Middle East, with Iraq located at dead center of it.

There is really only one condition that will allow us to pull out of Iraq. That is if we make an enormous collective effort to change our behavior here in North America; if we break free from an economy pegged to suburban sprawl, reform the way we do agriculture and retail trade, make substantial investments in public transit and railroads in particular, and practice fiscal restraint at every scale, including an end to the reckless creation of mortgages. Unless we face these facts and the tasks associated with them, then we will find ourselves at the center of that geopolitical struggle.

Right now, nobody from any political stance is talking about these facts and these tasks. Those in the anti-war movement are by-and-large people who enjoy the same suburban "entitlements" as the war-hawks. The anti-war leadership is even worse than the pro-war leadership, because the war-hawks don't even pretend to be interested in reforming the way we live -- they've declared it "non-negotiable."

10. I didn't develop AMNESIA after 9/11
Rudy was and is a BULLY. I would NEVER vote for the man; either for Senator OR President. As much as Hillary is a disappointment to me, and I did vote for her, that doesn't mean I would throw in the towel and vote for somebody even WORSE.
