Still no santa
If words could only make things true. If faith were enough. Oh what a world it would be! Bush presented his “Plan For Victory”, praying to the Gods or marketing that the buzzwords will take. Trying, once again, to make reality. Perhaps he believes. Or thinks that if he believes hard enough that everything will go his way.

I used to be like this back when I was a kid. I thought that if I was a good little boy, Santa would make my dreams come true. We all know what the reality is.

Most of us grow up and learn to look at the world through adult eyes. There is no Santa, and “Faith”, no matter how well intentioned, is never enough. And like this loss of innocence, the point between believing in Santa and just pretending too, so that we could get good presents is a hard one.

But eventually we all come of age, and although we might throw a lot of fits during those years, the reality will not go away. No one can go back to Believing in a Santa Claus, and there is no secret Santa Clause in Bush’s “Plan For Victory” to make all your dreams come true.

It’s time for Republicans to grow up. People are getting killed. Can we have adults in charge again?

I’ll put out the cookies and milk.

2. I wonder what the next buzzwords will be
Mission accomplished, strategy for success, evil doers, war on terrorism, global struggle against extremists...they can come up with some zingers!
