Split the party in 4 factions? The first faction being the Gore/Dean faction, the second being the Kerry/Ted Kennedy faction and the third being the Clark-Edwards/Clinton faction and the fourth faction being the Sharpton-Kucinich/Independant faction.

1. NO NO NO
It is called DIVERSITY. That is something the other party has no idea about, whether it be in foreign policy or nationally. We do not follow the pied piper.

2. Then I must be split amongst 3 of the factions
I was feeling a little "disjointed" today - that must explain it! ;)

3. I don't think it is the presidential race. The Dem party has made choices

over the years, and it is reasonable to assume that they made the choices that the party's decision-makers felt were best.

4. that's very accurate and astute
There are plenty of factions vying for control of the party this year. Whoever wins the nomination becomes THE LEADER of the party.

There's a lot at stake and you nailed the factions, dead on.

Good luck! :)

Edit: I'm not sure there's much difference between the Kerry/Kennedy faction and the Edwards/Clark one, actually.
