Body Count = Body Count + 10

do you support the Murtha plan to get the troops out of Iraq yet?

or are you still willing to wait for "benchmarks" to be achieved???

Ten U.S. Marines conducting a foot patrol outside the Iraqi city of Falluja were killed in the explosion of an insurgent bomb on Thursday, the U.S. military announced on Friday.

In a statement released in Falluja, the military said another 11 Marines were wounded in the blast caused by an "improvised explosive device" fashioned from several large artillery shells. Seven of those wounded have been able to return to duty, the military said.

The attack is one of the worst single incidents to hit U.S. Marines in the war.

1. Why just yesterday they were braying about all the progress
they were making against the surgeons and furry fighters. Suicide bombings down, blah blah blah. Oh our casualties were up, but pay no attention to that. Those are not the droids you are looking for. And now this. It just isn't fair.

2. how about this for a "benchmark"?
some have called for a phased withdrawal based on certain benchmarks ...

well, here's a benchmark: every time a US soldier is killed in Iraq, they can be withdrawn ...

it is time for Democratic Senators to stop the killing; they can keep their "i made a mistake" apologies and actually DO something by rallying the nation behind Murtha's resolution ... another 12 - 15 months of this bullshit is totally unacceptable ...
