John Murtha has the Repugs shaking in their jackboots!
From some infuential repug blog:

"Don't know how many of you caught Rep. John Murtha's very angry, very moving speech just now in which he called on the White House to institute an immediate withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. CNN didn't air the entire thing, but as I listened to it, I could feel the ground shift. Murtha, as you know, is not a Pelosi-style Chardonnay Democrat; he's a crusty retired career Marine who reminds me of the kinds of beer-slugging Democrats we used to have before the cultural left took over the party. Murtha, a conservative Dem who voted for the war, talked in detail about the sacrifices being borne by our soldiers and their families, and about his visits out to Walter Reed to look after the maimed, and how we've had enough, it's time to come home. He was hell on the president too.

If tough, non-effete guys like Murtha are willing to go this far, and can make the case in ways that Red America can relate to -- and listening to him talk was like listening to my dad, who's about the same age, and his hunting buddies -- then the president is in big trouble. I'm sure there's going to be an anti-Murtha pile-on in the conservative blogosphere, but from where I sit, conservatives would be fools not to take this man seriously."

3. Moore should be flattered and happy.
Apparently he's really noticed at the Whore House. They're not on their high horse now, are they?

5. What is it w/ the GOP Neocons and Michael Moore? Its pathetic!
Michael Moore must laugh himself silly to the bank everytime they mention his name! His royalties and value go up every time, so you'd think that they wouldn't want to be helping him!

What babies they are...."ooh...your like Michael Moore!"

Wow, to even try to put Murtha in the same sentence with Michael Moore just emphasizes how out of touch the Bush/Cheney Cabal is...

2. I think that was "churchhillbuff" from freerepublic.
A rare moment of candor on that remedial-level website.

I'm glad he's feeling that way, but I think if he really feels that way, his first act should be to turn his back and never post again on that filthy site. That's what I did, when I realized the freepsters are a pox on this nation.

6. taken over by the "cultural left"?
that's gotta be a frickin' joke. Calling Democrats effete when their big hero is a fake cowboy who is scared of horses makes me laugh. I used to ride bulls, I can drink beer with the best of them, I'm a farm kid, and a wrestler and I am definitely a liberal democrat. I know others who are like that too. Take MT Governor Brian Schweitzer or even Howard Dean. Hardly effete guys. Bill Clinton or John Kerry aren't effete at all. Republicans are of the mistaken notion that liberal Hollywood Strawmen control are party, when very few people who are all that liberal are in office. On the other hand they also have this idea that the Republican party consists of a bunch of Joe Sixpack tough guys who ride horses and wrestle grizzlies with their bare hands. The Republican party is full of the most effete snobs that ever have been involved in politics. Bush was a cheerleader. Tom DeLay is quite feminine acting. Cheney strikes me as a wimp. So does Bill Frist. What a joke. I know people who are traditionally conservative. Farmers. Ranchers. I grew up with them. The Republican leadership and congressional delegation are in no way like those people are. Not by a long shot.
