GOP and Kerry playing the same Low game on Clark!
Kerry has taken all his talking points from the repukes to destroy Clark. What this election has showed me that our country is truly on the brink of collapse. We live in a time where anyone will say anything about anybody so longs as it benefits them.

May GOD help us all!

I think that the use of the RNC video by the other Dems is proof of the...
original post. It is a fact. The "Republican Fundraiser"
video came straight from the RNC archives. It has been
referred to by several candidates and the media ad nauseum,
especially emphasized during nationally televised debates.

The whole meme "Clark is a Republican" has been beat to
death and re-iterated by several of the candidates, with
literature being passed out and Clark's very own rallies.

It stinks and proves the original poster's notion that the
folks will "do anything to win".

I still like Kerry and many of the rest but pointing out
the egregious behaviors of the candidates is not flamebait.

8. You are absolutely correct
It has been this way from the beginning. To me, it speaks very poorly of the state of our country - this willingness to do absolutely anything to get ahead - including Democrats repeating Republican attacks.

10. He speaks out of both sides of his mouth.
On the one hand, he says he wants to win by staying positive and addressing issues, on the other, his campaign is passing out scathing anti-Clark and anti-Dean flyers and push-polling.

12. You have no evidence for this - push poll was trick on both Dean and Kerry
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 05:24 PM by emulatorloo
I have seen the flyer, and I assure you the Dean campaign has done similar. It did not say Clark was a republican. Nothing in the flyer was fabricated. Tacky maybe. But I have seen tackier.

As to the push polling, I beleive that it was repub trick- it was designed to make Dean look bad if you fell for the push poll trick, or to make Kerry look like an A-1 homophobe and antisemite nut if you didn't fall for it (except that was the second part of the trick - to make Kerry look bad.) Think about it - Kerry has Jews in his family and is for "Gay Marriage" too. This was work of right wing.

or maybe larouche or how ever you spell his name

ON edit - add ;arouche (or how ever you spell his name)

13. Anti-Clark Fyer Was Digusting

not just tacky.

Kerry said Clark was a good and decent man, Kerry was all too eager to call Clark a friend and said I WILL TELL YOU THIS, I WILL NEVER SAY ANYTHING CRITICAL ABOUT WESLEY CLARK

When it was time to separate the men from the boys, Kerry went negative on Clark. It was more important for Kerry to win than it was to keep his word.

14. I am not defending flyer --
I don't think it was necessary. . .but there was nothing in it that wasn't true.

Gen Clark (who is my number 2 by the way - man he impresses me) did vote Republican and was a paid lobbyist, right? You act as if it said he ate babies and was a satanist.

If anything it is lame, because I know for sure that Clark can defend himself cuz I have seen him do it time and time again.

16. Yes, Clark can defend himself.
I guess there's only a very slim chance that things like this won't be discovered. But, suppose they weren't. How can Clark defend himself against something he doesn't know about. That's what bothers me most.
