Bill Frist's Positive Ratings at 23%!!!
:woohoo:

House Speaker Dennis Hastert’s positive rating is down four points since August, from 26 percent to 22 percent

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist’s positive rating is down from 28 percent to 23 percent which suggests he will not be a strong presidential candidate in 2008. :woohoo:

The positive rating of the Republicans in Congress is down from 32 percent to 27 percent since August.

Does the Aspiring President Frist want to reconsider his ambitions?

Maybe, um, perhaps a striped suit in a rather small suite with bars on the windows?

1. How does he even get up in the morning?
Trent Lott, however, must be feeling quite jaunty.

5. unfortunately, we're not
Fortunately,(or not, depending on one's perspective) we are the only alternative, barring a serious third party run in 2008, so we should be the beneficiary of the negative feelings toward republicans, or at least it should hold down the republicans going to polls to vote

4. He could never be a serious candidate with those cat killings in
his past. Seriously, cat lovers would not stand for it, and there are LOTS of 'em out there.

12. I already have a plan of attack if he decides to run
Every cat club, Humane Society, animal shelter, PETA chapter in the country will be hearing from me if he runs.

Mail merge to email is a great and wonderous thing.

6. Think how stupid a 23%-approval rating suggests most voters in TN
are for surely ample information was available about Frist from the get-go that he should have been lucky to get 23% of the vote IMHO. :woohoo:

7. There are going to be some MAJOR Republican shifts
As much fun as we like to make of the GOP, they're not complete idiots. Approval ratings in Hitler territory are nothing to shrug off, but these thugs aren't going to turn loose of the levers of power easily. Their blood-stained mitts are clamped on with a death grip, and we're going to have to smash some fingers (metaphorically speaking) to make let go.

Next year, a whole new product line will be rolled out, extolling Republican experience and longevity. Never you mind that their experience has been uniformly bad, and the worst reason in the world to do something is because that's the way we've always done it. They're going to fight and kick and claw and scratch, and we'd better gird our loins and prepare for their worst. Once they're turned out of power, they know they're facing not just the judgment of the voters, but the judgment of courts and judges who have the power and authority to put them away from decent society for a long time.

Like a fleeing felon on Cops, they'll do anything and everything they can to stave off that day of reckoning. We must be resolute, implacable, and consistent in bringing these criminals down. Nothing less will do.

9. Even his numbers with Mrs Frist have fallen....
in the bedroom. Apparently sex with the former Dr. would be described as a "minimally invasive procedure"
