The Clenis did it! Clinton's penis told Woodward about Plame.
Clinton's penis also lied to Bush about the WMD and transferred funds from Indian casinos to Jack Abramoff.

OMG it's all--ALL--coming down around their ears. Absolutely unbelievable. WaPo with the Woodward story & the Cheney/energy meetings story on the same day. Two unrelated, potentially impeachment-grade stories breaking on the same day, while 5 or 6 more swirl in the background. What an embarrassment of riches. If the Dems can't do something with all this, there is no hope for the nation.

1. "I told Walter Pincus"
Woodward's statement said he testified: "I told Walter Pincus, a reporter at The Post, without naming my source, that I understood Wilson's wife worked at the CIA as a WMD analyst."

Pincus said he does not recall Woodward telling him that. In an interview, Pincus said he cannot imagine he would have forgotten such a conversation around the same time he was writing about Wilson.

"Are you kidding?" Pincus said. "I certainly would have remembered that."

5. There is also a reference in the news about Woodward protecting
his sources.

If Woodward was told this and if he told others than it is quite probably that he was used (willingly or not) to plant the defense of the Repubs that 'everybody in Washington knew' which was and continues to be their first line of defense against the law regarding exposing her (and Brewster-Jennings) identity.

So, was this their plan? Get the talk jump started by telling all these journalists so that they can be the 'everybody in Washsington' that is referred to?

This is what DeGenova and Toensing and Rove himself (if I remember correctly) have been claiming.

This means that Woodward doesn't have to protect sources.

Honorable sourcing:
Four entities area involved -
1. Wrongdoer
2. Whistleblower
3. Journalist
4. Editor(s) who guide the journalist on whether to publish.

Dishonorable and culpable:
1. Wrongdoer - the leaker - the person exposing(s).
2. Wrongdoer - journalist(s) who works with the exposer(s).
3. Wrongdoer - any editors who work with the exposer(s).

In other words - if there is no whistleblower - no journalist should be protected from the journalist code of not revealing sources.

No one should have pity for Judith Miller.

I think Fitzgerald should go after the 'everyone in Washington knew' angle and throw the net wider (if he hasn't already).

THis is the first time Woodward's name has come up - right? It's been over a month since Judy got out of jail?

4. I had a disturbing mental image the other day
it was all this "great" stuff coming down on the GOP and the Dems just never quite mounting an effective counter...

and it all just fizzled. (in my nightmare rumination)

I guess it all just hinges on 06. We have to concentrate on that.

But sometimes we Dems are so full of infighting as we deal with herding our cats that we never quite get anything done.

If we don't get something going this time, this party is a goner.

6. Woodward is a weasel. He must have needed a new chapter for his next
book.

7. How long ago was Woodward's last book published - the one where
George talked from his soul?

9. Pincus is often thought of as a reliable conduit of info from the CIA.
I think he's pretty reputable, no Judy Miller.

10. Clinton
will be blamed for everything until the end of time.lol.

We are in the perfect postion to regain the House next year. When that happens Democrats will be in a better position to really make some changes and start the investigations that will expose these criminals and possibly impeach that weasel.
