WTF? Just when I thought I couldn't possibly get angrier...
I read this at KOS!

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/11/10/175120/37

Chalabi gets a $330,000/month salary from the PENTAGON?

They are using OUR $$$ to pay a criminal like Chalabi an outrageous salary? WTF? He's a frickin' criminal. He's under investigation for trading spy secrets to Iran! He's the reason over 2000 of our men and women are dead! We can't get our troops the equipment they need and we pay this rat bastard $330,000 a f*cking month? Did anyone else know this or was I the only one who missed it? Who authorized an annual salary of $3,960,000.00 to a crook? OMG!:grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

I am BEYOND pissed!

1. Let's start up a petition to stop it.
Or ask Boxer to do it through her PAC or something.

Or write LTTEs.

3. That money must be in support of the so called "Iraqi National
Congress" or something. It seems impossible that he would get a personal consulting contract that size.

5. The funding was cut off some time ago. Actually, once
it became public knowledge the Neocons had to stop it.

However, he should be asked to pay it back.

7. He was cut off
about the time his headquarters was raided last year....he no longer received that money if I am not mistaken.

It is, however, a CRIME that he received any money in the first place.

9. I've known it for some months, but forgot it. Thanks for reminding me!!
Chalabi talking to the White House Iraq Group this week, in particular, make me feel as though we "gone through the looking-glass".

11. method of payment
Does Chalabi receive a monthly transfer, or do they just fly 'cash packs' out to him? The latter seems to be the preferred method of payment these days.

16. Personally, I think Chalabi is blackmailing
this administration. He is the one central figure that knows just about everything. He sent us 'Curveball' and all the other info the neocons wanted to build the case for invasion.

Chalabi has been getting those payments for years! However, they were suspended after Bremer and the fibbies raided Chalabi's home in '04. I didn't know they had been reinstated but it doesn't surprise me. So, while the evil Chalabi is welcomed with open arms, does anyone know where Bremer is these days?

Chalabi is one smart, albeit evil, cookie. He's a player and would turn on the neocons in a second if he got a better offer elsewhere.

Bush has to keep paying him to keep him quiet. He'll also get whatever position he wants in Iraq - eventually. Isn't he in charge of Iraqi Oil now? Yeah, that's the ticket, put a convicted embezzler in charge of the country's only resource.

I figure there's a safe deposit box somewhere with all the evidence contained therein. It's the only explanation as to why Chalabi is still alive as far as I can see. He's got the administration by the short and curlies and he's tugging.

18. $300K/month was just his allowance. Now that he's got his own country
he's raking in billions. There must be some major blackmail going on for Washington to be so played, but still be kissing behind.

And that money went to the INC, not just Chalabi.

I guess he was paying off his toadies to feed fake info to the admin.

20. I'm with you - Seriously Pissed Off!
I'm sick of the damn propaganda. These morons think that Chalabi will be able to rule Iraq? Think again! Remember Bush-Co has the REVERSE Midas Touch.

The media is one big corporate whore. We must break up the media monopolies. Andrea Mitchell on Hardball is also seriously pissing me off right now.

Al Zarkowi ... Thug! ... This guy, a Jordanian! ... Palestinian in mentality ... Killed Palestinian moderates who are seeking peace.

This is all pure bullshit! They're doing a complete psychoanalysis of this DEAD MAN ... who's WANTS TO KILL AS MANY AMERICANS AS POSSIBLE.

Morons! I hope and pray the US Sheeple don't lap up this propaganda.
