When it comes to Newspaper Endorsements: Corzine gets the best
The two biggest newspapers in the state are actually NYC and Philly newspapers since a bulk of the citizens of NJ live in one of those 2 major metro areas.

Of the 3 major New York Newspapers (Times, Post & Daily News), COrzine got the endorsement of both the Times and Daily News (ironically the Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch so there is no surprize they went for Forrester)

Corzine also got an endorsement from the Philadelphia Inquirer

Read all the major endorsements here on Jon's website!

1. If this election is even CLOSE... something stinks.
NJ (in it's populated places) is quite live and let live liberal. I'm not sure what the current distribution of Deibold/ES&S machinery IS across the Garden State, but I would take a good hard look if Corzine doesn't blow that bushbot out of the water.

2. I don't think that's an issue here in New Jersey
Democrats pretty much control the state all over. If it's close it's because this race has been a dirty race and Corzine has to fight the backlash from the McGreevey scandal.

4. The polls still show Corzine in the lead...meanwhile...The Star-Ledger
our statewide newspaper (and a genuine waste of dead trees for more reaons than just this) has endorsed Forrester.
