Pat Roberts: "We let their staff know just yesterday"...
Really Pat ? How did you let them know ? Email ? Messenger ? Courier Pigeon ? Do you have verification of that claim ? I guess maybe I am being skeptical Pat, but Jay Rockefeller said this was the first he heard of your "notification".

5. Roberts is "claiming".....
he notified the minority vice-chairmans office "yesterday" that there was a plan to address "phase II' of the intelligence report next week and they there was "no need" for the actions of today.

He is using that claim to bolster the repug talking points that todays closed session was nothing more than a stunt and not really necessary.

So I ask.. "really.... can you prove that point"....

I think not... but if you tell a lie enough it becomes truth.

21. I don't believe him for a minute. He's said many times that part 2
of the investigation is "not a priority," and now that he's getting some static, he's hoping that nobody will remember that. He'd also prefer that we not remember how he refused to investigate the treatment of detainees.

OTOH, maybe he's telling the truth, and the dog (or the Clenis) ate that memo he sent. :eyes:

"I know I sent you that report two days ago!!"

And you know what, with the age of modern technology - I always get caught in my lies so I stopped doing it

26. Pat Robertson is an unethical, lying piece of excrement
He proved that over and over again in the past. Yesterday's rant was just more of the same.

People never change.

Same for Frist.

And yet the media swallow their soundbytes like they were delicious candy, rather than the PURE EVIL encrusted with plutonioum that they are.
