Supports Extrajudicial Strip-Searches of Elementary School Aged Children.

DAMN I'm proud to be an American today.

EDIT TO ADD LINK, sorry:

In 2004, Alito dissented from other judges who ruled that strip searches of a woman and 10-year-old girl living with a suspected drug dealer were improper because the search warrant in the case specifically applied to the suspect and his home.

7. ALITO! Read this paragraph:
Fourth Amendment

In 2004, Alito dissented from other judges who ruled that strip searches of a woman and 10-year-old girl living with a suspected drug dealer were improper because the search warrant in the case specifically applied to the suspect and his home.

He also wrote in a unanimous opinion that states cannot be sued in federal court for violating the Family and Medical Leave Act — which entitles workers to take medical leave for reasons that include having a baby and caring for a family member — because Congress had overstepped its authority in creating it. The Supreme Court ultimately upheld the act in a separate case, reversing the 3rd Circuit Court's ruling.

CONGRESS OVERSTEPPED ITS AUTHORITY? BIG HUMMMM. Omg.

9. the story is correct
Go to www.pfaw.org and look up Alito's history.

Alito doesn't believe in the right to privacy. Why would he believe that little 10 year old girls have a right to keep their bodies private?

10. Strip-searching a 10-year old is just horrendous!
And totally unnecessary. Generally, a person who knew how to listen to a 10-year old would probably be able to find out whether contraband was hidden on the child without a search strip. Can you imagine? The child would feel molested -- helpless. I remember having to go to the hospital as a child just a little younger than that. I felt violated and frightened by the procedures. By that I mean that I felt that these huge, mean people had taken over control of my body and had caused me pain. I felt helpless, stripped of my integrity and my power over myself. And that was for a good cause -- to improve my health. Can you imagine how that child felt when strip-searched, especially in the intimidating experience of having police officers searching the house she was in. Several of Alito's decisions suggest to me that he has little capacity for empathy. But then, that seems to be a prerequisite for being a right-wing extremist. How could anyone who had empathy for others be a right-winger? Probably couldn't.
